Hunt for Happiness Week!

โ€”

, , , ,

Did you know there is a group called The Society of Happy People? I didnโ€™t, until just this morning. I want to join! Not only that, they have designated this week, the third week in January, as the โ€œHunt for Happiness Week!โ€ How cool is that, especially this time of year!

How does it work? Well, the society has identified 31 different kinds of happiness, which is a pretty awesome feat all by itself. Then, they have developed a tally sheet for marking down all the times you have been a particular type of happy in the last hour, four hours, or whatever time period you choose. Ideally, you should try to mark the tally sheet for some period of time every day during this week. You might be surprised what you learn! You might find you are happier than you even thought! Or you might find some types of happiness are lacking and then you could create a goal/plan to improve that. I think itโ€™s a great idea and Iโ€™m going to work on that this week!

โ— About Me

I am a human being who appreciates kindness. I enjoy being the recipient of acts of kindness (who doesnโ€™t? ๐Ÿ˜Š). I enjoy planning for acts of kindness and trying spur-of-the-moment acts of kindness. I also enjoy reading about others doing acts of kindness. It gives me both hope and ideas for future acts of kindness I could do.
